The Redfern 22/24/26 launch is the natural evolution of time-tested fishing hulls blended
with the look and feel of the classic wooden launch. Constructed with modern boatbuilding
materials and techniques, the handsome Redfern is a fast, strong, and able vessel. The
stepped chine bottom provides exceptional lift and stability, lending itself to excellent top
speeds and a very comfortable ride. The Redfern is available with the quiet depend-ability
of 4, 6, or 8 cylinder Volvo stern drive units, in gas or diesel. This fast, classic looking
launch comes to plane very quickly and tracks extremely well. The flare of the bow provides a
dry ride even in heavy sea conditions. Our cuddy cabin is the perfect place to store your
gear, and the simple and accessible breaker panel is easily reached from the helm. The large
cockpit is watertight with stern scuppers and has a comfortable bench seat facing forward. A
number of seating options are available accord-ing to each individuals needs and taste.
Each Redfern launch is a custom product developed through close work and cooperation
between the customer and the craftsperson. The result is a launch as unique as its owner.
Owner participation in construction details is always welcomed as much or as little as you wish.
The Redfern weekender (shown above) makes our picnic launch series of boats the ideal
choice for people who want to extend their cruising range . The raised
cabin sides allow for sitting head room on a generously proportioned
v-berth without any compromise to the beautiful lines. Under the bunk we
offer a marine head and lots of storage. Sinks and hanging lockers are
also available. The weekender is available in 22, 24 or 26 foot lengths.
